2011 Guardian Angel Knitting Program

A purler result for 2011!

So far, an amazing 70,000 woollen garments have been donated to the 2011 Guardian Angel Knitting Program! The contribution that our Guardian Angel knitters make to the community each year is overwhelming, and Guardian Pharmacy thank you for your generous support to this very worthwhile cause.

Delivering the gift of warmth to kids in need

Guardian and Variety, the children’s charity have been working together to provide Winter warmth to children who need it most. Your knitted donations have been delivered to a specially selected range of Variety causes which include: 

• Children and babies in shelters
• Children who are disadvantaged or with special needs
• Aboriginal communities
• Children affected by the recent Christchurch earthquake in New Zealand

Guardian Pharmacy would like to thank Variety, the children’s charity for their generous support and assistance in delivering the gift of warmth to children in need during the 2011 Guardian Angel Knitting Program.

When does the Guardian Angel Knitting Program commence in 2012?

Program dates for the 2012 Guardian Angel Knitting Program are still to be finalised, however please check this site regularly for updated information on when the program will commence next year.
